Impossible Burgers
Classic burgers made with Impossible meatless beef!
Ingredients
Makes 3 4 oz. burgers or 6 2 oz. sliders
- 1 Impossible Burger package (or real beef if you prefer)
- Butter/oil for cooking
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic (minced or granulated)
- Onion (minced or powder)
- Liquid smoke
- Chili powder
- Other seasonings you love- have fun with it
- Cheese of choice
- Bun of choice
- Optional toppings: Bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion (fresh or sauteed), ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, or anything you like!
All seasoning are optional and should be added to taste.
Directions
Remove the beef from the package and put in a medium bowl. Add seasonings to taste and mix it all together well. Divide the meat into three even pieces for full-sized burgers or six even pieces for sliders. Roll each piece into a ball and then flatten it as much as possible without the discs falling apart.
Heat butter and/or oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Place patties into pan and cook until the juices start raising to the top and the edges start turning gray/brown. Flip the patties over to cook on the other side. Add cheese, reduce heat, and cover the pan. Once the cheese is melted, remove from pan and build your burger!
