White Chocolate Peppermint Cookies
Traditional Christmas flavor in a soft cookie made with Hershey’s candy cane kisses.
Ingredients
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups Hershey’s candy cane kisses, chopped
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease baking sheets or line with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl and set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the sugars and butter. Add vanilla and egg and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until the dough is consistent.
- Mix in the chopped kisses and white chocolate chips
- Roll dough into 1-1 1/2 inch balls and place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake about 12 minutes, until cookies become sightly golden.
